Randy Nelson is our CEO. In June 2005, he and Stephanie Nelson, both graduates of TWC, revived Cross Creek, and thanks to their leadership, the school has seen tremendous growth. Now serving at Doe River Gorge, a Christian Camp near Elizabethton, TN, they remain very active at Cross Creek. Tim Womac is our Principal and high school history teacher. He has a B.S. in History from TWC. Last year, he served as Registrar and as Assistant Principal. This is his 5th year at Cross Creek. Pam Packett is our Registrar. A mother of 2 Cross Creek graduates, she taught 2nd grade last year. This is her 3rd year at Cross Creek. Cathy Ivey is our mild-mannered Bookkeeper. She’s been at Cross Creek for 6 years, coordinating special events and answering the phone. She has 2 daughters enrolled at Cross Creek.
Our Elementary Teachers
Elizabeth Packett is our Pre-K teacher. A Cross Creek graduate, she loves her students and is looking forward to her second year.
Jessica Crowder is our favorite Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher. She has worked as a sub for Sweetwater Schools. Mother of two, this is her 3rd year at Cross Creek.
Sandie Jessen is our 1st grade teacher aide. A mother of a 2009 Cross Creek graduate, she is a familiar face at Cross Creek and does an exceptional job with our Drama students.
Jeni Hinton is our 2nd grade teacher. She has a B.S. in Art Education from UTK, and has taught at several schools, including Sweetwater Valley Christian. She is creative, outgoing, and has a good sense of humor. We are blessed to have her to join us.
Lacey Hubbard is our 3rd/4th grade teacher. She has a B.S. in Early Childhood Development from UTK, taught 7 years at Powell Elementary, and is a proud mother. She started as a sub at Cross Creek, but we didn’t want to lose her. This is her 3rd year at Cross Creek.
Dovie Moses teaches 5th/6th, as well as 2 high school English classes. A mother of 5 beautiful daughters, she earned her B.A. in English from MTSU. This is her 7th year at Cross Creek.
Alice Wallace is our Renaissance teacher, teaching math, music, and Spanish. A mother of two, she’s worked at Hamilton County and McMinn County schools. This is her second year at Cross Creek.
Our High School Teachers
Rachel Danner is our Science teacher. She earned her B.S. in Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology. She’s worked at Georgia Aquarium, Zoo Atlanta, and Alaskan Wildlife Tours. This is her 2nd year at Cross Creek.
Debbie Wright is our Math teacher. She has a B.S. in Secondary Education—Math from Tennessee Tech. She taught a semester at Athens Jr. High and taught six years at Sequoyah High School. This is her 2nd year at Cross Creek.
Becky Webb is our Chemistry teacher. After taking off last year for the birth of Amanda, she has rejoined her Cross Creek family. She earned her B.S. of Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. This is her 3rd year at Cross Creek.

Art, Nursery, and Lunch
Deborah Bukowski is our Art teacher. During the school year, parents can see their children’s handiwork on the wall. She enjoys art and students. This is her 2nd year with Cross Creek.
Tammy Runyon is extremely valuable to the Cross Creek family. She works in the Nursery, caring for the small children while their mothers are teaching class. A mother of one, this is her 2nd year at Cross Creek.
Melissa Murphy is our Lunch Lady. A mother of two, she serves lunch to our hungry students.
