Randy has served as the President/CEO, Principal and Administrator of Cross Creek since June 2005. He comes to Cross Creek after having served 12 years in the nonprofit sector with the past 7 years focused in the areas of nonprofit administration and development. He most recently served four years as the Vice President for Advancement at Hiwassee College in Madisonville, TN where he successfully led the colleges fundraising, public relations and alumni relations programs.
Randy has also served as a youth pastor and as a mental health counselor for children, youth and their families.
Stephanie Nelson currently teaches at the school and serves as the Director of Cross Creek Theatre.
Randy and Stephanie have five children: Jonah, 12; Micah, 10; Samuel, 7; Seth, 5; and Lydia, 3.
