Cross Creek offers monthly field trips and other socially engaging opportunities for our students and their families. Trips have included the Knoxville Zoo, Mayfields Dairy, Sweetwater Valley Farms, The Railroad Museum in Chattanooga, Concerts, The Museum of Science and Energy, Wonder Works, and more.
In addition, Cross Creek Theatre, provides students the opportunity to learn drama skills. This group has produced and toured several plays including “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” “The Fox,” and a musical, “As Your Garden Grows”. Cross Creek Theatre students most recently wrote and produced a radio show that was aired on WRKQ 1250am.
Any home education family registered with Cross Creek may participate in these activities. Students that are home educated but registered through another school may also participate by paying a $50 per year activity fee.
Cross Creek is an interdenominational 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization
recognized by the State of Tennessee as a Category IV Church Related School. Cross Creek is a member of the Association of the
Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
